easyJet has announced two new routes from Bristol Airport, to Burgas in Bulgaria and Montpellier in France, both starting next summer as part of an 18-route expansion the airline is rolling out across the UK.
The Bristol to Burgas service begins on 28 May 2027, operating twice a week on Mondays and Fridays to the Black Sea resort. The Bristol to Montpellier route starts on 1 July 2027, flying twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. easyJet says it will be the only airline flying the Montpellier route, and it has previously operated a Bristol-Montpellier service in the past.
The new routes come on top of flights easyJet is already adding from Bristol this winter, to Budapest and Strasbourg, taking the airline's total route count from the airport to 93. Package holidays including flights, hotels and transfers are being sold alongside both new routes through easyJet holidays.
Kevin Doyle, easyJet's UK Country Manager, said the 18 new routes for summer 2027 were "fantastic news", with two more from Bristol Airport showing the airline's "commitment to providing customers in the South West with more choice from their local airport".
The announcement was confirmed by easyJet and reported by Bristol Live (Bristol Post) and TravelWeekly, which set out the Bristol additions within the airline's wider 18-route UK expansion covering destinations including Barcelona, Rome, Hamburg and Rhodes from various UK airports.
Bristol Airport has been building out its leisure network steadily over recent years, and the Burgas and Montpellier additions extend its reach into two markets, Bulgar
