Bristol Airport has confirmed the first four restaurants for its rebuilt departure lounge, with the first due to open in early summer 2027.
In a statement on 13 August, the airport said Bill's, Cosy Club, wagamama and a new bar called Tap + Brew will form the opening phase of food and drink in the extended lounge, part of a £400 million transformation. Bill's, operated by Avolta, opens first. Cosy Club, the Bristol-founded chain owned by Loungers, follows in what will be its first airport site. wagamama arrives next summer, and Tap + Brew, run by SSP UK and Ireland, in autumn 2027, serving beer from Bristol brewer Wiper and True.
Kate Gwyther, the airport's head of retail, said customers would be "spoilt for choice". The airport said the redesign will almost double the number of shops and restaurants, add 17 units and give the lounge around 20 per cent more general seating. Terminal work started at the end of 2025 and the airport said it has invested more than £60 million so far.
Trade titles Moodie Davitt Report and DFNI both reported the line-up, on 14 and 18 August. In a separate notice on 31 July, the airport invited tenders for 10 further food and drink units, including coffee shops, premium bars and what it called a secret speakeasy bar.
Nothing changes for passengers before 2027, and the airport has not said whether the work will affect the current lounge meanwhile.
