Bristol Airport Fast Track Security costs from £7 per person when booked directly with the airport, cheaper in advance than on the day. Before 8am you use a dedicated Fast Track channel; after 8am you get priority access to a Fast Track lane inside the main Central Search area. Children under 2 travel free. Bookings cannot be amended if your flight date changes, and there is no refund if your flight is cancelled. Checked against Bristol Airport's own Fast Track Security page, November 2026.
How much does Fast Track Security cost at Bristol Airport?
Bristol Airport's own booking page lists Fast Track Security from just £7 per person. Several third-party resellers, including Holiday Extras, ParkVia and SkyParkSecure, advertise it from around £6 per person as an introductory or discounted rate when booked well in advance or bundled with parking, a lounge visit or a hotel. Buying on the day, if a slot is available, typically costs more than booking ahead, in line with most UK airport Fast Track products. Children under 2 are free regardless of where you book.
| Booking route | Typical price per person |
|---|---|
| Bristol Airport, booked in advance | From £7 |
| Third-party resellers (Holiday Extras, ParkVia, SkyParkSecure), booked in advance | From around £6, often bundled with parking or a lounge |
| On the day, subject to availability | Usually the highest price |
It is a per-person charge, so for a family of four the real decision is four times the headline price, not a flat family fee.
How does Fast Track Security work at Bristol?
- Before 8am: Fast Track customers use a dedicated Fast Track channel, separate from the main search area.
- After 8am: access is via a Priority Fast Track Lane inside the main Central Search area, rather than a fully separate channel.
- Children under 2 go through free.
- Special Assistance: if you need Special Assistance as well as Fast Track, book and check in at the Special Assistance reception desk, where an ABM team member can guide you through security.
- Bristol Airport does not guarantee a maximum or minimum queue length or time even with a Fast Track pass; it is a priority service, not a guaranteed wait time.
- All passengers, Fast Track or not, go through the same security screening and regulations, and it remains your own responsibility to reach the gate by the airline's published boarding time.
How to book Fast Track Security
Book directly through Bristol Airport's own Fast Track Security page, selecting your travel date and the number of passengers. Fast Track can also be booked as an add-on through third-party sites alongside parking, airport hotels or a lounge pass, which is worth checking if you are already booking one of those separately, since a bundled rate can work out cheaper than paying for each individually.
Changes, cancellations and refunds
Bristol Airport's own Fast Track terms are strict on two points:
- Flight date changed: Fast Track tickets cannot be amended if your flight date changes. You need to make a new booking, then claim the cost of the unused one back from your airline or travel insurance if your policy covers it.
- Flight cancelled: there is no refund on your Fast Track Security booking if your flight is cancelled.
Given these terms, it is worth booking Fast Track closer to your travel date once your flight time is confirmed, rather than far in advance of a booking that could still change.
Is Fast Track Security worth it at Bristol?
Whether it is worth the money depends mainly on when you fly. Bristol's standard security queue is normally quick, but the early-morning peak, roughly 05:00 to 08:00, when wave after wave of holiday flights depart, is when queues run longest. That is exactly the window the dedicated pre-8am Fast Track channel is designed for, and it is also the period our own analysis of Bristol's security timing covers in more depth in our guide to how long security takes at Bristol. Outside that peak, or on a quiet midweek departure, the standard lane is often only a short wait, which narrows the time you are actually buying with a Fast Track ticket.
Fast Track versus a lounge
Fast Track only gets you through security faster; it does not include seating, food or drink once you are airside. If you want both a faster security experience and somewhere comfortable to wait, Bristol Airport's lounge is a separate product and a separate cost. See our guide to Bristol Airport's lounge access and pricing if you are weighing the two up together, since some providers let you bundle a Fast Track pass with a lounge booking at a combined rate.
